CAR | There is no long term parking available at Strand station. Paid public carparks are available nearby in Parnell. There is a drop-off and pick-up zone directly adjacent to the platform.

WALK | The station is a 20 minute walk from Waitematā station, and a 10 minute walk from Parnell's main street.  

BIKE | There are no bike parking facilities available. This is a five minute walk.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT | The nearest bus stops to the station are on The Strand.

Strand is not a fully accessible station, there are a number of hazards that may pose a risk to passengers. An accessibility parking space and drop/off pick up area is available adjacent to the platform in the Ngaoho Place carpark.

  • Entry/exit required through a carpark with no separated pathway
  • Carpark surface is uneven, with some uphill and downhill sections
  • Tactile paving is not prevalent in the area and you will need to cross roads
  • Terrain walking into Auckland CBD is steep and hilly
